If Romney can not get the nomination on the 1st ballot at the convention, then its an open field.

Newt Gingrich on 04/25/12 said during the Event of Kings Mountain in North Carolina that he would continue campaigning for a "solid conservative platform" in Tampa FL. As for being the "Nominee", well that is up in the air and is the magic question. The current likelihood of the "Nominee" is currently Romney. BUT!!! If we can get Newt to Tampa's Open Convention ... I have no doubt Newt Gingrich can negotiate the convention to choose Newt Gingrich as our 2012 "Nominee" and as President.
