Is there still a chance for an Open Convention?
most of us that have been paying attention to the Gingrich campaign have often contemplated a open convention in Tampa Florida. Although in my opinion it never should have came to this. Speaker Newt Gingrich has been the obvious choice since the beginning of this campaign. Many of us have often heard Newt say we defeated Italy, Imperial Japan, and Nazi Germany in 3 years 8 months because the country was serious. But in 2012 we can't even beat the disingenuous carpet bomber in 5 months, the country simply isn't serious. We shall see in the month of May whether or not there is a path to the open convention, whether or not there is a hidden "Ace" up one of Newt sleeves. It is certain with Newt Gingrich as the nominee Obama will be defeated decisively and the country will be free again. It is uncertain that if Mitt Romney is the nominee what course the country will evolve to.
